Red Riding Trilogy - Episode 1983 - Anand Tucker - UK- (2009)

Plot from Imdb: "The seemingly untouchable, corrupt West Yorkshire police, and the true evil mastermind behind the child abductions and murders of the last 14 years, can't resist doing it again. Against them, a fat useless lawyer, and one remorseful copper."

Final chapter of this great tv trilogy, the 1983 delivers ! Once again, it reeks with fears and hypocrisy. To avoid revealing the plot here, let's just say that I was not surprised by the culprit(s) and that it's painfully actual. Anyway, this segment has a better direction that the previous one, with some beautiful shots, handled camera, nice framing, etc...that create a  really oppressing and claustrophobic feeling. Actors are great, once again. Mark Addy does a great job as the small time lawyer, that finally awakens. Wish we had the guts and the talent to do such a great serie in France ! Three Cheers for British TV !
